Will the Sprint Evo 4G Get the SnapDragon Dual Core Processor

January 12, 2011

It appears that there are some sensitive members on the http://www.ppcgeeks.com when the above question is asked.

All you have to do is inquire about the Sprint Evo 4G, and some of the members, including its Moderators get real testy. A member was inquiring about the possibility of the Evo 4G being upgraded with the Dual Core Snapdragion Processor, and the member got some rude answers. In fact, the Thread was eventually moved to the Off-Topics forum, which cannot be accessed by non-members. So if someone googles the question >

Will the Evo 4G be getting the 1.2Ghz Dual Core SnapDragon Processor,?

you will be directed to the thread, but will have to sign up as a member if you are not one already. Looks like the thread hit a Nerve, a very sensitive nerve with these members. Unbelievable, seeing it is just a device, yet people get so uppity discussing anything which may bring a topic into focus.

The Evo 4G has the 1.0Ghz Snapdragon processor, and Qualcomm has started to ship the dual core processors. This means that dual core devices will be right around the corner soon. And this May put the Evo 4G on the back burner for a while. Sprint will most likely come out with a dual core device to keep up with the Jonses, But Sprint may take a while to do so, considering the Evo 4G just came out on the Market in June 2010. And Sprint is usually Very Slow in coming out with any new Devices or Upgrades.

T-Mobile looks like it will be getting the dual core and make it available in a device called the Glacier. Motorola will also be releasing dual core devices, as well as LG. The Evo 4G looks to be a Great device though, and any Sprint device or other carrier’s devices receiving a dual core processor may not live up to the excellence of the Evo 4G. The Evo is by HTC, and the possible Glacier that T-Mobile may have is also made by HTC.

It will be interesting how all this will stack up. Qualcomm and the processor development for the Android devices are being produced at a very fast pace. No doubt, the owners of the 1.0Ghz processor devices will want to jump onto the latest and greatest processors, which at the moment will be the dual core devices, which will have the Qualcomm Dual Core 1.2?-1.5? Ghz processors.

Then the whole cycle will begin again when newer and faster processors will be made available. But it will be a wait and see to see how these dual cores perform. They are supposed to be up to 5x the speed and use 75% less power as compared to the previous 1.0 Ghz snapdragon processor.

Again, http://www.ppcgeeks.com most likely gets a lot of revenue regarding advertising on their site from Sprint, etc, which may be the reasons for the piss poor attitudes of its Moderators, and some members. Then again, they just may be sensitive to any inquiries regarding any upgrades to their Evo 4G’s, because they just plunked down some big bucks for them. Whatever the reasons, I recommend not signing onto their forum as it has appeared to have gotten very biased over the last couple of years. ou may sign up, only to ask an innocent question, and get shut down by the Overzealous Moderators that seem to be rampant on the forum.

Anyway, looking forward to the Dual Core devices, and the feedback they get once they are made available to the General Public.

In addition, some of the Moderators over there ‘talk’ to you in a way that if they ever spoke to you ‘face to face,’ they’d be singing a different tune. That’s what ‘s convenient about the Web sometimes for these ‘Moderators’ who are most likely some Snot Nose Punkasses. In life, these Moderators are most likely some Whiny, Sniffling, Picked on all their Life Assholes that have an issue with their Masculinity, so they get off on telling people off on these forums because they can feel like they have a Pair between their Legs, But in reality, they are the same Snot nose, Punk asses that wanna make believe they are someone. To these Moderators, I Salute you with a Big Middle Finger.

City Council 2010 Blizzard Hearing Bullshit is Piling Higher Than the Blizzard Snow!!

January 10, 2011

The 2010 Blizzard Hearings in front of The City Council are in progress, being televised by NY1. The Bullshit flying around so far is piling higher than the Snow was during the Blizzard!! The idiots presenting testimony are reading from Scripts that were no doubt thoughtfully written out by the Administration’s Script and Speech Writers. They had 2 weeks to write these Speeches.

First up to testify are The City’s Commissioners consisting of Sanitation Commissioner Doherty, Fire Commissioner Cassano, Commissioner of the NYC Office of Emergency Mangement (OEM) Bruno, and Deputy Mayor Stephen Goldsmith are falling over themselves in trying to read their scripts.

Hopefully, the City Council Representatives see through this obvious bullshit, and ask the tough questions of why there were so many failures during the 2010 Blizzard.

Oh, btw, Mayor Michael Bloomberg is absent from the Hearings. I wonder why? Hmmmmm.

Marcia Kramer of Channel 2 CBS News Stands Up to Bloomberg!!!

January 7, 2011

Marcia Kramer of Channel 2 CBS News here in NYC is the ONLY Reporter that:

1) Stands up to Mayor Bloomberg, and doesn’t back down

2) Asks Bloomberg the TOUGH Questions w/follow ups (if Bloomberg lets her get a follow up question in!)

All of the other reporters throw ‘Softballs’ at Bloomberg during the King’s Press Conferences. Marcia Kramer should be Applauded for doing her research, and asking the Questions that Matter. The other Reporters should have their Press Credentials REVOKED!!!

You can tell Bloomberg doesn’t like Marcia, and can’t wait to cut her short when she asks her questions. Bloomberg usually doesn’t even answer her questions. For instance, Marcia brought up the FACT that the Deputy Mayor and Bloomberg were not in NYC during the Blizzard, and asked the Mayor where he was, and should both the Deputy Mayor and Bloomberg both be out of NYC at the same time in General? Bloomberg told her that he or his Administration does not divulge that information, etc. and hurriedly picked another reporter for the next question. Bloomberg does this EVERTIME regarding Marcia’s Questions. Bloomberg Dreads Marcia’s Questions. Bloomberg treats Marcia like a pest when he calls on her, and can’t wait to go on to the next question. Actually, Bloomberg shows her very little respect. Her fellow reporters can Learn a little something from their Colleague.

Marcia Kramer………KEEP on asking the Tough Questions, and don’t settle for his Half Ass Answers. You should be Applauded by the Execs at Channel 2 CBS News!! And the People of NYC should applaud you for Standing up to the Mayor, and not letting him Bully you. Ask the tough Follow Up Questions to Bloomberg’s Lack of Response to your Original Questions, and Hold him Accountable.

Don’t let him talk over you, or pass you up so early.

Bloomberg Photo Op With a Snow Shovel in His Hand??

January 7, 2011

I wouldn’t be surprised if Bloomberg will have a photo op of himself shoveling snow today! This Egotistical, Pompous Ass Fucked up the Blizzard Snow Removal last month, so he is calling in the Calvary for the 4 inch Blizzard LOL! we are supposed to have today!!

Bloomberg is either Firing or making Department  changes to Personnel that had nothing to do regarding the Terrible, Horrendous response to the Blizzard we had a week ago.  The 2 People who are Responsible for the No Response to the Blizzard are sanitation commissioner doherty, and the King Himself, Bloomberg. Bloomberg should Fire Doherty, and then The King himself should step down from his Throne.

Bloomberg has once again started to ‘Talk Down’ to the ‘Little People,’ and especially relishes in Talking Down to Marcia Kramer of Channel 2 News here in NYC. Marcia is the only Reporter who seems to be standing up to the Mayor, and Good For Her, and Shame on all the other Reporters who Kiss Bloomberg’s Ass at the Press Conferences.

Bloomberg chooses his words carefully when he speaks about the lack of response to the Blizzard. He says: His Administration is held to a ‘Higher Standard, and ‘We’ didn’t meet that higher Standard that the People of NYC have come to expect.’

Bloomberg has started to berate Reporters, and treat them like little kids when he is asked questions such as where He was during the Blizzard, and why his Deputy Commissioner was also out of NYC at the same time during the Blizzard. He tells reporters and the People of NYC it is None of Their Business.

NYC is in Jeopardy when it comes to Catastrophes, because of Pompous Assholes like Bloomberg who don’t feel they have to Answer to The People of NYC. In addition, Doherty should be Fired just for the Fact that he Laughs and Giggles during the Press Conferences. He should be the First to go, and Bloomberg should be right behind him.
